Row Type (T)
Under T (Type) you enter what order row type that is being registered.
- 1 (Part row) - The part must be registered in the Update Part procedure.
- 2 (Additional order row) - This row type allows you to register orders for parts that do not exist in the part register. During delivery of this row type, no stock transaction will be made for this row type. Please note that all the rows of this row type must be coded manually.
- 3 (Service row) - This row type is used when you sell services such as traveling expenses etc. The services must be registered in the Update Services procedure.
- 4 (Text row) - This row type is used to add your own text on a row. By double-clicking in front of the text field you can also link the text row to the part-ID on the order row above. By using the setting "Link additional text automatically to quote/order/invoice row", under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure, it is possible to select if text rows on quotes and order and invoice rows should be linked automatically.
- 5 (Serial number) - This is used to trace a part via the product register, by linking it to the serial number of the previous order row. Read more about this in the Trace Part procedure, under Inventory and Product series. A serial number can have a maximum of 40 characters.
The number of serial numbers must not differ from the quantity on the order row. When using entirely numerical serial numbers, you can enter an interval on a row or register several rows with individual numbers or an interval. If you use other characters than numbers in the Start code field, a row like that will always represent one (1) serial number in this check, even if you have entered an interval. You cannot link serial number rows to another row type than part row (row type 1).
- 6 (Underlying fictitious part) - Row type 6 is used for fictitious part sales, if the price must be entered on the fictitious part instead of on the incorporated parts. Row type 6 is a row type that the system automatically uses for fictitious parts, and that the user does not need to enter. If there is a linked text on a fictitious part, such as Additional name, that text will be given row type 16.
- 9 (Tool row) - If you use the supplement Tool Management you can register tools as customer order rows. This can for example be used when a special tool is offered to the customer.
When you have chosen row type 9, you select tools from the tool register in the Part number field. Customer orders can not be registered for the tool type Assembled since this tool type consists of a structure of other tools.
If a stock transaction should not be registered for a tool during delivery, you can change to row type 2 for the order row once the tool has been loaded from the part register.
Comment: You can determine whether row types 5 and 6 should be printed on order documents or not. This is configured for the forms in question in the Form Settings procedure in the Global Settings module.
