Type of Form
Here you can select the type of form you want to use for printout. The options are:
- Order - The standard form for purchase orders suitable for printing to a printer.
- Delivery note – The standard form for purchase order delivery notes suitable for printing to a printer.
This alternative is used to print a delivery note for the purchase order. Check this box when a delivery note should accompany the purchase order, for the supplier to fill in the information on (such as delivered quantity) and return to you together with the goods. - Order confirmation – The standard form for order confirmations suitable for printing to a printer.
This alternative is used to print an order confirmation for the purchase order. Check this box when an order confirmation should accompany the purchase order, for the supplier to fill in the information on (such as delivery period) and return to you. - Fax - Purchase orders are printed using a fax form. This setting also fulfills two main functions. See below. As a standard, the E-mail form (also used for fax) can only print one order number at a time to the fax, but if you have installed the Fax Integration supplement you can print an order number interval just as when the Order alternative is selected.
Conditions for Printing an Order Number Interval to Fax
- To be able to enter an order number interval for the form type Fax, you must select a fax program in the setting Fax program for direct fax during form printout?, under the heading Fax / E-mail that you will find under the Global settings tab in the Settings procedure.
- The selected fax program must be installed on the computer that is running MONITOR.
- The correct fax number must have been entered in the Fax number field in the Order header. You can enter the fax number under the Info tab, in the Update Supplier procedure, for those suppliers and references whose purchase orders and possible order confirmations should be sent via fax. You can then select those numbers in the fax number field in the order header.
Please note that you for the Purchase order e-mail form you might need to check the alternative Two order rows in the Form Settings procedure in order to fit the entire text on the printout.
