What is the MONITOR Agent?

The MONITOR Agent helps you to automatically execute the run of list procedures (AutoRuns) and also to actively monitor events (Monitoring Tasks). The user can be notified about the results from the AutoRuns and monitoring tasks either with a network message (broadcast), via e-mail or it can be saved in the MONITOR Agent Results for a later review.

Please note! If a list that has been created via an AutoRun or monitoring task is empty, there will be no message and no saving of a result.

The MONITOR Agent can be used to:

• Create automatic runs (AutoRuns) of different lists. Scheduling AutoRuns is made by using the Scheduled Tasks procedure in Windows.
• Create monitoring tasks of events based on conditions, and inform the affected users quickly about events. These monitoring tasks are performed by the agent server.
