Texts
Here you can compose the various texts that are used in the webshop. These are as follows: E-mail for forgotten user name; E-mail for forgotten password; Message – Login details; “Type is missing”; Order confirmation; Order message; Footer; Part text; Payment; Product sheet; Quote confirmation, Quote message, Content below part menu, Content above part menu, and Message sent by e-mail to customer when product is back in stock.
There is a filter at the top that makes it easier to retrieve a particular text.
Here you can manage and create text for different purposes. See above. Texts are created per language, so remember to translate your texts into all languages.
To create a new text:
- Click on the Plus sign

- Select Type.
- Select your User group under Add user group.
- Click Add.
- Select Language.
- Enter a Title.
- Enter your text in the Contents box. Any tags that can be used are shown under the Contents box.
- Save.
To edit texts:
- Click Edit
.
- Select a language and edit the information as required.
- Save.

A part menu can be linked to one or more menu items. Texts are created per language, so remember to translate your texts into all languages. You can compose as many part menu texts as you need.
Part texts can be linked to one or more parts/menu items. Texts are created per language, so remember to translate your texts into all languages. You can create as many part texts as you need.
Here you can compose the e-mail message which is sent to new customers. This is unique – there may only be one text of this type. Within the message, the {$(userName)}, {$(customercontactname)}, and {$(password)} tags are replaced as follows:
- $(userName) – replaced by the user name
- $(referenceName) – replaced by the name of the reference person.
- $(password) – replaced by the user’s password
Here you can compose the e-mail message containing the forgotten user name which is sent to customers who have forgotten their user name for the webshop. Please note that there may only be one text of this type.

In the e-mail message, the tags are replaced with the following:
- $(referenceName) – replaced by the name of the reference person.
- $(userName) – replaced by the user name.
- $(password) – replaced by the automatically generated password.
To create a message containing a forgotten user name:
- Select your language.
- Enter the heading in the Title field. This heading will then be displayed on the Subject row of the e-mail message.
- Compose the message, and use the tags above to ensure the right information is included in the e-mail.
- Save.
Remember to translate the message into all languages used.
Here you can compose the e-mail message that is sent to customers who have forgotten their password, or wish to request a new one. If no e-mail message has been created in the language the customer uses in the webshop, a standard message will be sent in the webshop’s selected language. Please note that there may only be one text of this type.

The form adds account-specific information instead of tags, as shown below:
- $(referenceName) – is replaced by the name of the reference person.
- $(resetLink) – is replaced by a link to reset the user name or password.
To create a message containing new login details:
- Select your language.
- Enter the heading in the Title field. This heading will then be displayed on the Subject row of the e-mail message.
- Compose the message, and use the tags above to ensure the right information is included in the e-mail.
- Save.
Remember to translate the message into all languages used.
When an order has been registered in the webshop, you can choose to send an order message via e-mail to someone at your company informing him/her that a new order has been registered in Monitor ERP. An order confirmation is sent to the customer. Please note that there may only be one text of this type.
It is possible to enter tags that will be replaced by data when the e-mail message is sent. Two special tags are $(orderrows)
and $(orderrowheader)
.
The former is replaced by a table containing a row for each order row, with columns in the following order: Part name, Part number, Quantity, Price each, and Row cost.

Here you can enter the text to be shown in the webshop footer. These texts can also be translated. Images can also be attached. It is customary to apply the same appearance to both the footer and website.

To help your customers choose a payment alternative you can write an explanatory text – shown at the top of the page – with details of the different payment options.
- Select Language.
- Select Customer group.
- Enter your text in the text editor.
- Save.
- Repeat steps 1–4 for the languages and customer groups your require.

Quotes is an additional function in the webshop which may not be available to you. As with the order confirmation, you can control the layout and appearance of quote messages and confirmations. When a quote has been registered in the webshop, you can choose to send a quote message by e-mail to someone at your company informing him/her that a new quote has been registered in Monitor ERP. A quote confirmation is sent to the customer. Please note that there may only be one text of this type.

If, under Part balance, you have configured that customers can monitor parts, you can compose the e-mail sent to customers when the part is back in stock. Please note that there may only be one text of this type.
The $(partbalance)
prints the current stock balance.
The $(partdescription)
tag prints the name of the part which is monitored.
