Password

The password for the user. Password is not mandatory, but we recommend that you always use password for users. However, password is mandatory if you activate the setting Allow login to web client.

By using the button called Change password the field will be activated and you can enter or change password. The password is encrypted using SHA1 one way hashes, so you will never see the user's password.

Language

Determines the language to be used when the user in question starts MONITOR. Internal documents and lists that are printed from MONITOR will also be in that language. You can select among the languages that MONITOR is translated into and which are activated in the Languages procedure.

Warehouse

This applies if the option Warehouse is installed. The warehouse to which the user is linked. Roles, user rights groups, and user-specific user rights, which you register for a user are saved per warehouse level. A user can for example be a purchaser/buyer in one of the warehouses and a production engineer in another warehouse.

Employee number

If the user should be linked to a person, here you select the person's employee number. If the person in question is linked to another user, you cannot link the user to the person. You also receive a message about this.

Windows account

In this field you can link a Windows user account to a MONITOR user in order to use integrated login.

Integrated login means that the user will be selected by default in MONITOR and he/she does not have to enter name and password when the program is started. During start-up, MONITOR checks which Windows user is logged in on the computer. If a user in MONITOR is linked to the Windows account, the user will automatically be logged in to MONITOR.

If the user has a group license selected in the License field on the header row, it is mandatory to link a Windows account to the user.

Determines that the user can be set as responsible for different activities.

Allow login to web client

Determines that the user is allowed to log in to MONITOR G5 web client. If you check this setting then you must enter a password for the user.

Allow modification of procedure instructions

Synchronize with calendar program

Here you determine if the user's activities should be synchronized with a calendar program. Please note! This does not apply to project activities.

Voucher number series

Determines the voucher number series selected by default when the user creates a new voucher.
