The regular name that is entered in the heading row can only contain max 35 characters. You can enter an additional name for a part, containing 4 x 80 characters.
You can view and print additional names in different lists, such as the Part List - Inventory and Physical Inventory List. You can also choose if you want to print the additional name on manufacturing order documents. The same applies to whether the additional name should follow the part onto customer order and purchase order rows.
The setting for customer and purchase order rows is configured in the Settings procedure, and for manufacturing order documents in the Manufacturing Order Documents, both in the Global Settings module.
