Allowance for On-time Deliveries

Enter the number of days or weeks delay or early delivery that is acceptable.

• Plus days delayed - Enter the number of days/weeks delay that can be accepted, before the delivery is considered a "late delivery".
• Minus days early - Enter the number of days/weeks early delivery that can be accepted, before the delivery is considered a "too early delivery".

All deliveries that are made later or earlier than the indicated number of days/weeks from the delivery date you entered will be included in the list.

The customer's allowances will override these allowances!

Work Days

Under Work days you can select which days in the calendar that are considered to be work days and thereby delivery days. This means whether or not to include all the public holidays in the difference between the initial, current and actual delivery period. There are three alternatives:

• All calendar days
• General calendar
• Company calendar

The alternative you choose is a deciding factor for the results, if the initial delivery period or current delivery period appear before a holiday, and the actual delivery period lies after the holiday. You can decide which calculation basis you want to apply.

Example: A delivery was promised on the Wednesday before Easter, but the actual delivery takes place on the Monday after. According to your company calendar, nobody will be working at your company on that Friday.

Depending on which alternative you choose, you will get 3 different results:

• Company calendar - gives a 1 day delivery delay (Monday).
• General calendar - gives a 2 day delivery delay (Friday, Monday) *
• All calendar days - gives a 5 day delivery delay (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

* The General calendar is a special calendar created in the General Calendar procedure in the Global Settings module. In this calendar you can define additional week days (besides Saturday and Sunday) that you want to exclude.
