The quotes can be prioritized or ranked by being given a probability code. These probability codes are percentages that must be registered in the Probability Codes procedure in the Global Settings. Probability codes are used as a classification and selection term in the Quote List and Quote Statistics procedures. The entered probability on quotes is considered in the Quote List procedure, list type Standard when classifying by Probability. This is displayed in the column called Weighted amount.
The percentage linked to each probability code indicates the likelihood of the results of this quote. This means that you can also include quotes in simulations or requirement planning, by checking the Simulations / Requirements planning alternative under Miscellaneous in the quote header. In that case, the quotes will be calculated in those procedures based on their probable outcome or result.
