This field is used to identify individual packages, in order to minimize the risk to load/scan the same package several times. Under the heading Bar Code Arrival Reporting under the Purchase tab in the Settings procedure, you will find a setting that determines if this check shall be made. This setting also determines how far back in time (number of work days) the check shall be made.
