MONITOR Agent Configuration
Before the Agent server can be started it has to be configured with the program MONITOR Agent Configuration that is located in the Monwin folder and is called MonAgentConfig.exe. You will find a shortcut to the program in the MONITOR ERP System on the Start menu in Windows on the database server. You will see the window below when the program is started.

The following configuration must be made:
- Under Databases you will see the available databases in the system. In the Active box you check those databases where the MONITOR Agent will perform monitoring tasks.
- In the SMTP Server name field you enter the IP address or DNS name to the e-mail server which is to be used in order to send e-mails.
If you do not use the standard TCP port 25 you can add a colon and a specific port number after the IP address or DSN name, for example "192.168.1.5:1234" or "mail.domain.tld:2525" if port number 2525 applies.
- In the E-mail sender address field you enter the e-mail address from which it will say that the message is sent.
- If an SMTP Authentication is required in order to send e-mail via e-mail server, this box must be checked. You can then enter an SMTP User Name and an SMTP Password for the authentication.
