Logging an AutoRun

If you set the startup parameter A (see the section Startup Parameters for AutoRuns), then MONITOR will log all the automatic runs in a log file, which will be added to after each new run. The file is called auto_<DBNo>_<Year>-<Month>.log and it is created the first time an automatic run takes place (example of a name: auto_2015-08.log according to the principle above). You will find the file in the directory C:\Monwin\log.

The sample below shows how the log file might look like after the Run Netting and the following Manufacturing Order Suggestion procedures have been run in a sequence by using the AutoRuns procedure. The AutoRuns procedure is included in the supplement called MONITOR Agent.

In the file you can, starting from the left, see the date and time for each event logged in the auto.log.

In between the square brackets you will then see [sequence number:running order number:computer name].

After this you will see a description of the event. AutoRunId is the sequence number (e.g. A=1) that was run UserID is the user who performed the automatic run (e.g. U=MONAGENT).

Sample from the auto.log file.
