During alternate preparations you can configure different terms for each operation or material row, such as having the row apply only for a certain period or a certain customer. The terms you configure will then be applied when you register orders in the Register Manufacturing Order procedure, when you make calculations in the Pre-Calculation procedure, when you load a structure list in the Consists of (Structure List) procedure, and they will also be displayed in the BOM / Operation List procedure.
Preparations permit two kinds of functions for terms. On one hand; terms that replace the previous operation or material rows, and on the other hand; terms that add an extra operation or material row. The criteria that you can enter terms for are:
