The economic order quantity (EOQ) is saved for the part if a calculation has been saved. This quantity is entered using the part's regular unit. The EOQ will be the default quantity value during calculations and manufacturing order registration. During requirements planning and lot sizing rule F (Fixed quantity) for a part, the EOQ is used as the lot size.
