Here is a printout samples of what a range of parts can look like in the list loaded into this procedure. The range or assortment of parts in the list is equivalent to the parts you have selected under the Create tab.
Each row in the assortment shows information about the Part number, Name, Part type, Part code, Administrator and ABC code. You can change the administrator in the list.
Once you start the run, each row in the selection will be requirement calculated and then be given a manufacturing order suggestion, if needed. After that, a requirement calculation will be performed for the underlying parts, and they will also receive suggestions. The netting run will review each row and place any necessary order suggestions and rescheduling suggestions for all the part levels in the selection.
Sample of a Run Netting list.
When the run is finished, a separate window appears showing the results of the run, as well as how long it took.
The result of the run is also saved in a log file called NETTO_[company no].LOG in the user's temporary directory. The easiest way to open this directory is to enter %temp% in the address field in the Explorer.
