Link...

In order to select an existing text phrase to link to a record, click this button. In the Link window that will open, you can select among the existing text numbers in the register. You can skip between previous or next text number, and between the first and last text number. Select one of the text numbers and click OK to link that text. The PopUp feature (F4) can be used to load existing text numbers. The alternative PopUp feature (F3) can be used to only search for text templates.

By using the Link... button, you can allow several parts, customers, etc. to share the same text phrase. If you change the text in one location, all the other links will also be affected by the changes made to this text.

Please Note! If there already is an existing file link to the entry to which you want to link a text phrase, a control question will appear, indicating that all existing linked files will be removed if you link a new text.

Where-used...

You can see if an existing text phrase is being used for other records. When you click on the Where-used... button, a window will open displaying the records to which the text phrase has been linked.
