Deleting Records

There are certain control functions in MONITOR that come into use when you delete or remove certain types of records, for example parts or customers. Before you can delete a record, the system checks with the current registers (for example the order register) to see if there are any links for the record in question. If there are no links you can delete the record directly. But if there are links, it is not possible to delete the record in question. This is an assurance so that you will not delete records by mistake that would, for instance, damage an order. However, if the record only occurs in log registers you can delete it.
