Stock Location System

The Stock Location System allows you to register stock locations and it provides several related features supported by the system. You can register locations by generating them automatically to simplify the process. Some of the features supported in this stock location system are:

• An overview of the total number of available stock locations
• An overview of vacant and occupied stock locations
• An inventory analysis that shows the number of stock locations that are required
• Vacant locations are suggested for arrivals when you receive arrivals to stock. (To find the most appropriate vacant location for a particular part, you create different storage rules that you then tie to the part).
