Service Management in MONITOR Mobile

When a service order is given status 5 Delegated, the service technician/service technicians selected on the order will receive a message in the application called MONITOR Mobile on their smart phones/tablet computers. This way the technician will see when a service order has been delegated to him/her.

The technicians can see their service orders and report them in a list in the application. From this list he/she can start the service order and thereby start registering time. In addition to time registration, they can also report material and travel, enter comments, and link images to the order. The technician can report meter reading, running time and cycles.

The customer can also sign the finished service engagement in the application. All service related tasks are easily reported in the mobile application. When reporting service tasks in the mobile application this is made in direct connection with MONITOR and then an invoice basis will be created, stock balances will be updated, and images and signatures will be saved to the order and serial number.

You can also see information about the serial number (from the product register) in the mobile application.

The reporting can be made in the application even if the technician does not have an Internet connection. If so, the reporting will be executed in MONITOR as soon as he/she again gains access to the Internet.

MONITOR Mobile is available for smart phones and tablet computers with the operating systems iOS and Android. It will also be launched for Windows Phone. In order to use MONITOR Mobile you need an Internet connection, version 7.3 or later of MONITOR, a separate software on your database server as well as a web server (IIS).
