When you open the procedure, the Create tab first appears. In the upper portion of the window you decide how to select the parts during the pre-calculation. There are different selection options to choose from.
In the lower portion of the window you will find a number of settings. Here you can select which part types you want to include. You can also choose if underlying S-parts shall be exploded or recalculated. If EOQ is missing you enter a quantity under the heading If EOQ is missing.
You can select a price alternative for P-parts and price alternative for S-parts that shall apply to the pre-calculation. You can also enter oldest price date to check that materials that are incorporated in the parts do not have an outdated price. You shall also select a cost factor alternative for calculating the processing cost. If the pre-calculation is saved to a price alternative, you can choose to save from a cost or a quote price from the pre-calculation. You can also choose to save EOQ and incorporated M-parts.
The different mark-ups that you can choose to add to the pre-calculation are; SO, SC, Sales overhead, Profit and Alloy cost/Mark-up. Under the heading Warning level you can select if warnings shall be used and at which level. You can select if Standard configuration on configured parts should be included. If you use alternate preparation, you can enter different calculation terms. See the printout samples of the different list types.
