The Indirect Work Tab

Here you create codes for Indirect work, which can later be started and finished via the Recording Terminal. Indirect work is used to register "non-productive" time, such as maintenance, cleaning, attending meetings or waiting while machines are being repaired, and so on.

Here you also create codes for work that is not bound to a particular manufacturing order but that should still be included in direct work, i.e. productive time. This can be useful if an operator is handling a machine where work orders are recorded for the actual machine. The operator starts and finishes work and enters a code in the Recording Terminal.

The code rows in the table consist of the columns Code, Name, Salary type, Cost, Type, Cost type (for project accounting), Comment, Link indirect work, Included in group and Affects order. The codes are sorted according to the value in the Code column.
