Here you create the absence codes that will be used to allow recorded absence times to be categorized and linked to the right salary types and/or time balances. Each row corresponds to an absence code and its corresponding links. The codes will be available as options when reporting absence.
In MONITOR, absences can be either Paid or Unpaid. Paid absence = business travel, and certain types of sick leave. It also counts absence where the time is deducted from a time balance, such as flex, comp or makeup time that is paid. Unpaid absence is a late arrival, for example.
By categorizing the absence codes as "paid" and "unpaid" absence in the Type column, the recording statistics created in the Statistics procedure can show how much of each type has been recorded.
The table consists of the columns Code, Name, Type and five Salary type columns that can be used so that the same absence codes can be linked to different salary types. You will also find a column called Salary type from schedule. The codes are sorted according to the value in the Code column. You will also find columns called Included in daily hours, Report as absence and Included in SWH.
