This feature is used to force the terminal to automatically return to the Basic mode in those cases when an employee has entered his or her employee number to see information, such as latest recording (without actually performing any recording) and then left the terminal while still "logged on".
You configure the number of seconds before automatically clearing or "purging" the terminal using the system setting Seconds before Recording Terminal Is Automatically Purged? in the Settings procedure. Ten seconds before this purge takes place, a message will appear warning of the imminent purge.
The message "Automatic purging within 10 seconds!".
Once the terminal is purged, a message appears.
The message "Automatically purging the Recording Terminal".
