Using Alternate Preparation with Different Terms

During alternate preparation you can configure different terms for each operation or material row, such as having the row apply only for a certain period or a certain customer. The terms you configure will then be applied:

• when you register orders in the Register Manufacturing Order procedure.
• during calculations in the Pre-Calculation procedure.
• when you load a structure list in this procedure.

Terms can also be viewed in the BOM / Operation List. procedure.

Preparations permit different kinds of functions for terms. Terms that will replace the previous operation or material row, terms that will add an extra row and terms that will delete a row.. The different criteria for which you can enter terms are:

• Part Status
• Alternate Preparation Code
• Revision
• Order
• Customer Code
• Quantity
• Period
