Special Tool

This section is used to enter information that is specific for special tools.

Pieces

Here you enter the number of pieces that are manufactured when the tool has been used once (cycle), if you want to use a different quantity than the tool group default. For example, if a certain casting mold can cast ten pieces, you should enter 10 in this field.

Status

Special tools can also have a manufacturing status. The available alternatives for this status are:

Customer Code

Here you can select the customer code, if the tool belongs to a customer. If you use the PopUp feature or F4, you can search for the customer code or customer name.

Part Number

Here you can select a part number for the tool, if it is included in the part register. If you use the PopUp feature or F4, you can search for the part number or part name. By using F3 you can search using the drawing number instead of the name.

Revision

This is where you enter the part's revision number.
