Unit

Here you will see the unit that applies to the Quantity field. The unit used by default in this field is entered for the part in question in the Update Part procedure in the Inventory module.

You can use both regular unit and alternate unit for preparation of material rows if an alternate unit has been entered for the part.

The alternate unit and conversion factor will not be saved on the material row but it is possible to change to the alternate unit temporarily and use this unit for the quantity.
