Import / Export

At the bottom of the Create tab there are alternatives to select whether you are executing a preparation import or export. You also select whether the import/export should take place against a database or a text file.

Import From

Select this alternative if you are going to import preparations.

Export To

Select this alternative if you are going to export preparations.

Database

Select this alternative if the preparations will be imported from / exported to a database.

Text Files

Select this alternative if the preparations will be imported from / exported to a text file.

The file name will always be set to the same by the system during export (m_Art.txt, m_Oper.txt, m_Strukt.txt, m_Text.txt), even though a dialog box appears in which it seems to possible to enter another file name.

Decimal Separator

If you select to import/export from/to text files, you can choose whether the decimal separator shall be a period or a comma.
