Outline - Parts

Under the Parts heading in the Sales module, you will find procedures that are related to parts and updating sales data for parts. There are also procedures used to obtain information such as part statistics and Intrastat reports.

Below you will find a brief description of all the procedures that can be found under the Parts menu in the Sales module of a complete MONITOR system.

Update Part - Sales

This is where you register and update parts with sales information.

Price Adjustment

This procedure is used to adjust prices on different parts. This means that you can recalculate all the different price types that exist in the system. You can find a Price Adjustment procedure under the Parts heading in the Purchase, Sales and Inventory modules.

Translate Part

Here you can translate the name and additional name of a part. This type of translation is made so that customer orders and purchase orders can contain the part name translated into the language selected for the order.

Part List - Sales

Here you can create printouts from the part register. You can also print a part list in the procedures Part List - Inventory and Part List - Purchase.

Sales Statistics - Parts

Here you can print sales statistics for each part. Consequently, it only includes row type 1 in the printout. In order to see the total sales statistics including row types 2-3, you should use the Sales Statistics - Customers procedure instead.

Price List - Sales

This procedure allows you to print price lists for parts. You can also print price lists using the Price List – Purchase procedure in the Purchase module. The system can manage several different price lists. These must be registered in the Price Lists procedure in the Global Settings. When printing price lists, you can choose which price you want to print.

Intrastat Export

Here you can print Intrastat reports for goods exported to the EU countries. These reports are sent on a monthly basis to Skatteverket (or your local tax authority), when you do business with customers in other EU countries.

Update Service

Here you register basic data such as activities, default order rows and to which parts the service applies. This procedure is a part of the supplement Service Management.

Print Service

In this procedure you can make printouts from the service register. You create service engagements in the Update Service procedure. This procedure is a part of the supplement Service Management.

Update Service Technician

Here you register the internal service technicians that shall be available in the service management. This procedure is a part of the supplement Service Management.

Update Service Plan

Here you register service plans that consist of one or several service occasions. The service plan shows in which order the service shall be performed and with which interval. This procedure is a part of the supplement Service Management.
