Other Terms

Here you can enter other terms for the coding method. There are a number of pre-defined terms to choose from. You can also add more rows using Tab. You enter an interval for a term.

By using the A button, you can enter an advanced term. An advanced term can consist of several intervals of the selected term on the row. It can also consist of excluding intervals.

A coding method that has one or several intervals of a term is an example of "other terms". It is also possible to enter intervals for different terms on a coding method.

Special Handling of the Project Term

There is a special term that only applies to the term called Project. There is a special term that only applies when you have selected Project under the heading Other terms. This is used when project is not entered on all records (with null or nothing entered in the Project field). These records must then have a separate coding method where you select project, from and to % and that you mark Exclude. See the example below:
