S-parts...

Here you select the way in which the incorporated stocked parts (S-parts) should be handled during simulation of a structure order via quotes. This only applies to the loading plan when you open the Loading Selection procedure from here.

• Do not explode - means that stocked parts will not be manufactured for this structure order. The option is selected by default. Only reservations are created.
• Explode - means that stocked parts will be manufactured in the quantity that is needed for this order. In this case, S-parts are treated as if they were M-parts.
• Recalculate - means that stocked parts will have their prices recalculated so that the planned costs of the order will be current for S-parts. If no recalculation is done, the price alternative entered for S-parts in the part register (usually the Standard price, entered under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure) applies. This option does not affect the order in any other way, only the price for incorporated S-parts is changed.
