Configure Lookup

In Configure Lookup, under the Settings menu, you can add profiles and configure your own presentations in Lookup for different registers in the procedures.

When you open the Configure Lookup page, start by choosing a register for which your profile will be created, then tap on the name. Saved profiles for the current register are shown on the next page. Otherwise, “No presentation found” is displayed.

You can open a saved profile by tapping on the name, and can then configure your own presentation in the profile.

To create a new profile, tap Add at the bottom of the page. You then enter a profile name for the presentation, and add it.

On the next page, you can configure the Roles, Groups, or Users for which the presentation will be used. You can also choose for the presentation to be default for you.

By default, there is one column for the current register. Here you can configure properties for the Lookup column, such as Contains or Starts with for the text the user is searching for.

Tap Add column... to add additional columns to be shown in the Lookup presentation. For the additional columns, you can also set the Not possible to search property. You can also change the order of the additional columns in the presentation by clicking for a column and dragging it upwards or downwards on the page.

To save the presentation tap Save at the foot of the page. There is also a More... Button which gives you the option to Save as... if you want to save a copy of the presentation in a new profile, or tap Delete to delete the presentation.

To the right of all the fields for the different registers in the procedures is the button, which you can tap to bring up a new menu in which you can choose a profile with your own presentation, or add a new profile. By default, the menu only contains the Standard profile. Tap the Settings button in the menu in order to go straight to the page where you can add a new profile and configure your own presentation for the register in question.

Access to the presentations for Lookup can also be controlled through permissions in the Users procedure in the Windows client.
