Report pick list – Manufacturing BETA
In this procedure you can report material withdrawal for pick lists for manufacturing orders. When reporting pick lists, you can use a scanner. Whether a scanner is used or not is determined in the Use scanner system setting in the Windows client. There are also settings that determine whether locations can be changed, whether locations can be scanned, and how part identities should be counted when scanned. Read more about the system settings here.
System settings can be overridden by user level.
The pick lists you can report are shown on the first page. Each pick list displays the following: pick list number, main part number, operation’s start date, order number, work center, and which date the pick list was created and by which user. If picking of a pick list is in progress, the pick list is shown as locked (and by which user). The pick lists are sorted by the operation’s start date, meaning that the pick list with the earliest start date is shown at the top of the list.

In step one, select the pick list you want to report by tapping to open it.
At the top of the page there is also a search field where you can search for pick list numbers and order numbers. This is useful if there are multiple pick lists to choose from, so you don’t have to scroll to find the pick list you want to report.

The pick list is shown in step two. The pick list header, which shows the pick list number, can be found at the top of the page.
The page contains two sections: To pick, which shows the rows to be picked. Picked, which shows the rows that have been picked. The sections show the number of rows (in brackets).
The pick list shows a suggested location to pick from. If a scanner is used, there will be a scanning field at the bottom of the page. You start by scanning a location, then a part identity, and finally, the quantity you will pick. By tapping Reset, you go to the field used to scan locations. With the +1 button, you pick one row at a time. You can also tap Pick all to pick the entire quantity. If you want to undo picked rows, in the Picked section you can tap the button and Undo picking.
You can also pick by tapping the location name. A dialog will be shown and you can write the quantity in the Picked qty field and then tap Ok. In the same dialog, you can select another location to pick from instead of picking from the suggested location. You do this by tapping the Skip remaining button. When you click Ok, the new location will be added to the pick list.
If you notice that a stock balance for a part is not correct, you can highlight this by activating Stock count request under the button. You can then enter a comment with the reason for this request. The parts for which a stock count has been requested can be generated in the Create stock count basis list in the Stock count in list procedure of the Windows client, by selecting Stock count request date. The comment is also shown in the list. When the stock count is completed and saved for the part, the request is removed.
If for whatever reason you do not want to pick the first row in the list, under the button you can select Move row to end. This moves the row to the bottom of the list so it can be picked later. If you want to restore the initial sorting, you can tap the
button in the top right and select Restore row positions.
Under the button, you can also choose to hide or show the scanning field as well as show all picked rows.
You are able to cancel picking once it has already started by tapping Cancel picking. This unlocks the pick list for your user. This also resets the current pick list to how it was before picking started. If you have starting picking and entered a quantity (which is shown in the Picked section) a dialog appears informing you the picking will be canceled, and asking if you want to continue without report rows that have already been picked. You can also cancel a picking in progress if you have already actioned part of the material withdrawal by tapping Report, if, for example, another user will continue reporting material withdrawal in the pick list.
Once you have finished picking, click the Report button to begin withdrawing all or parts of the material in the pick list.
