Stock count in list
In this procedure you can stock count multiple parts against a stock count basis.
You can select a basis that has been created in the Stock count in list procedure in the Windows client. For each basis, the date of creation, name, and number are shown. You can also see the status of the stock count, and the percentage of the basis that has been stock counted.
At the bottom of the page there is a search field where you can search for bases. To the right of the search field there is a filter button. Clicking the filter button allows you to enter or select Stock count date, the date on which the stock count is carried out. The field shows today's date by default. If you enter a stock count date in the future, a warning that the date is later than today is shown.
You can also activate Suggest saved/current balance as stock counted quantity in order to have the balance suggested for each location. This setting is not activated by default, and you must then enter the stock counted quantity for each location.
You can activate Verify unique match to have a green border on the left of each part; if you activate the function Load balance to stock count qty if one unique match is found (read more about this below).
To select the stock count basis you want to report through, click on the basis on the page.
When the stock count basis has been opened, there is a button
in the top-right corner with functions you can activate to facilitate and streamline the stock count via scanning of parts, based on part number, batch number, serial number and location:
- You can activate Show filter for part/batch/serial. This will bring up the scanning field for these numbers. You can also activate Show filter for location. This will bring up the scanning field for the location.
- If you activate Load balance to stock count qty if one unique match is found the stock counted quantity is suggested as the balance at the location, in cases where you get a unique match when scanning. If you have also activated Verify unique match on the start page of the procedure, a green border is shown on the left of the part when there is a unique match.
- If, however, you activate Load balance to stock count qty if multiple matches are found the balance at the locations where you get a match when scanning will be suggested as the stock counted quantity.
In the Not reported tab you can carry out the stock count and report. Here you can enter the Stock counted quantity for each part and the Location in the basis. You can also view the current balance per location. You can scan the part and location. If the stock count date on the start page of the procedure falls before the date of the last stock count, a warning appears in the field for stock counted quantity. If the part has traceability at batch level, the batch number is also registered for the quantity at the location.
You can use the Comment button to enter comments. You can also format text, and insert links and images. The comments refer to the stock count per location.
Using the Add location button which you reach by clicking the downward facing arrow at the bottom right of a card, you can add a row for an existing or new location with a stock counted quantity on the part. You then change the stock counted quantity and enter a comment on the new location row.
If the part has traceability at batch level, you can simply choose one of the existing locations and enter a batch number for the stock counted quantity at the location. Locations which have been added can also be deleted, by tapping
beside the location.
If the part has traceability at serial number level, you may only enter one (1) as the stock counted quantity. You can also add a location, and enter 1 as the quantity at the location. If you have entered a higher quantity, a red border appears around the field, and red text indicates the quantity is invalid.
If you need to cancel the stock count, simply exit the page via the menu.
At the bottom of the page you can browse between pages, if there are multiple bases, or select a certain page.
To report the stock count, tap Report at the bottom of the page. The status of the basis is then updated. In the Reported tab, you can see the parts and locations for which you have saved the reporting, and the reported quantity.
