Service Plans
In the Update Service Plan procedure you register service plans that you can link to a serial number in the product register.
This can be compared with a car’s maintenance book where there are planned service engagements after certain mileages. In service plans in MONITOR the time is considered and not the distance.
A service plan consists of one or several services that shall be performed in a specific sequence.
In the Update Part procedure under the Sales tab you will find a button called Service plan. Here you can select which service plan/plans that shall apply to the part.
Under the Service plan tab in the Update Product Register procedure you can use the button called Load service plan to choose which service plan/plans will be the basis for the serial number's service book. You must enter a start date that indicates when the service plan starts to apply. When the service plans are loaded they are turned into a service book including several service engagements. Based on the service plan's start date, the date when the service will be performed is calculated.
If you have configured that the meter reading, running time, or cycles should determine when a service shall be performed, the row is shown in bold font under the Service plan tab in the product register when the value of these exceeds the value entered on the service plan row.
You can release a service plan row to an actual order under the Service plan tab in the Update Product Register procedure or in the Service Plan List procedure.
