Part balance

Here you can configure how part balances are managed in the webshop. You must specify what balances are shown as well as how they are displayed.

• Show balance icon/Show balance value – controls whether the balance is shown as an icon or value. Under Balance intervals, you can configure how the balance icon is displayed.

• Show disposable balance/Show stock balance – controls whether the disposable balance or stock balance is shown. The disposable balance is defined as the current part balance on the locations at a given time, minus reserved quantity plus ordered quantity.

• Calendar days ahead in time included in calculation of disposable balance – enter the number of calendar days ahead in time that are included in the calculation of disposable balance (if you selected Show disposable balance, above). In Part balance, under Order settings, you can configure how the webshop checks if parts are in stock, and may be sold. If you don’t want the customer to see the balance, this is configured under Access rights.

• Customers can monitor stock balance for parts – controls whether customers can monitor parts which are no longer in stock. If the customer is logged in, they’ll need to check the box to approve that their e-mail address is saved, and that an e-mail will be sent when the part is back in stock. In the case of a visitor – that is, who is not logged in – the person must enter the e-mail address the message will be sent to.
