Create account

Here you can create an account for an existing customer. New customers must be registered in Monitor ERP before an account can be created in the webshop. The login details will then be sent by e-mail to the user. You can compose this e-mail under General settings | Texts. Please note that all settings configured under E-mail | Settings must be correct before you can create an account.

To create an account for an existing customer:

  1. Select a customer from Monitor ERP. You can search by customer code or customer name, or use the dropdown menu to search for customers.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Under Reference, you can select one of the customer's existing references – or create a new one. References who already have login details for the webshop are not shown in the list.
  4. Under Standard user group, select which standard user group you want to link to the new account.
  5. Select User group.
  6. With the Send login information to the user checkbox you decide whether or not an e-mail with login details is sent to the user. This box is checked by default.
  7. Select Language for the e-mail.
  8. The Reference, User name, and E-mail fields are all mandatory. The Phone number and Mobile phone number fields are not mandatory.
  9. Click Register when all the information has been registered. If you do not uncheck the Send login information to the user checkbox, an e-mail with login details will be sent to the user.
