Enter the customer's VAT number. This is particularly important for EU customers, since this information is printed in the Intrastat report and on the EC Sales List. If the entered VAT number is used by another customer, a message appears.
You can check if the customer's VAT number is valid in VIES that you will find on the European Commission's website.
