Outline

Under Quotes in the Sales module, you will find procedures that are related to how the system manages quotes (quotations) sent to customers.

Below you will find a brief description of all the procedures that can be found under the Quotes menu in the Sales module of a complete MONITOR system.

Register Quote

This procedure is used to register quotes (also known as quotations, bids or offers) that are made to customers. When a quote has been registered, it can easily be converted into an order. This procedure also allows you to open an already registered quote, in order to modify the previously entered information, or add/delete quote rows.

Print Quote

You can print quotes using this procedure. In the Form Settings procedure in the Global Settings module, you can describe how you want printouts to be handled. For example, you can decide how many copies of the document that should be printed each time. You can print a quote at any time.

Quote List

You can print lists from the quote register in this procedure. There are different list types to choose from containing different information for each type. You can classify and select the list in different ways, and also make updates when you use certain Display List functions.

Quote Statistics

Here you can print quote statistics per customer. This will print the total quote statistics including all the row types 1 (Part), 2 (Addl. order row) and 3 (Services). The Quote Statistics procedure also shows how many quotes have been turned into orders and how many have been lost. The information is then determined by the different classification and selection options you choose.

Quote Activity List

In this procedure you can print all planned quote activities, as well as view statistics for finished quote activities. You can print all quote activities regardless of the activity status and responsible user.
