The regular name that is entered in the heading row can only contain max 35 characters. You can enter an Additional name for a part, containing 4 x 80 characters.
You can view and print additional names in the Part List - Inventory and Physical Inventory List procedures.
When working with manufacturing orders, you can choose if you want to include the additional name in the document. The same applies to whether the additional name should follow the part onto customer order and purchase order rows, as well as quote and inquiry rows.
The settings for orders, quotes and inquiries are configured under Orders / Inquiries under the Purchase tab and under Orders / Quotes under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure. The setting for manufacturing order documents is configured under Header / Footer in the Manufacturing Order Documents in the Global settings module.
