Under Quantity on the part row, you enter the quantity to be manufactured in the simulation. The default quantity is the quantity that you registered as the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) under the Planning tab in the Update Part - Inventory procedure. If you have set a "quantity" term for the part in the preparation, it will be taken into account here.
