Classification/Selection
Here you can choose to classify and select the list using a number of different alternatives, to create a range of parts for inventory value calculation.
- Date - used to select a date interval (only applies using the list type Total / month) for inventory valuation.
- Part number - used to value separate parts directly from the range of parts.
- Name - used to value separate parts directly from the range of parts.
- Part code - used to value groups of parts directly from the range of parts.
- ABC code - used to value groups of parts directly from the range of parts.
- Part category - used to value groups of parts directly from the range of parts.
- Product group - used to value groups of parts directly from the range of parts.
- Administrator - used to value groups of parts directly from the range of parts.
- Part status - used to value groups of parts directly from the range of parts.
- Location - used to value only the parts that are in a certain location or in an interval of locations (this does not apply when using the Total/month list type).
- Last inventory date - used to value only inventoried parts based on the latest inventory date. The parts that have a "last inventory date" are displayed in the list. If you select parts per inventory date, you must also select to base the value on inventoried balance.
- Last consumption date - used to value parts based on the latest consumption date. By using this alternative it is possible to find the parts which are slow-moving and that have not been consumed since a certain date. This is done by entering a date far enough back in past time. Then these parts will be displayed with current stock balance and value.
- Registration date - used to value parts based on their date of registration. This will include the parts that have been registered up to and including a certain date, or from a certain date onwards, or within the date interval that you enter.
- Part status - used to value parts based on their part status. The parts as of a certain status up to and including a certain status, will then be included.
- Not arrived later than - used to value the parts that have the last arrival date up to and including a certain date. This is useful when dealing with slow-moving parts. The valuation can only be performed when age analysis is used.
