Order Status
Here you can select which parts you want to include in the WIP list via their order status. Depending on whether your manufacturing is to finished stock or customer orders, you select different order status options. The available alternatives are:
- Started, not finished – is used if a part has Status 3 (Started), and the main part of the order does not have Status 4 (Finished) or higher. This is usually used during manufacturing to finished stock, since the orders reported as finished are counted as inventory value instead. With this alternative no orders that have a main part reported as finished will be included in the WIP calculation.
- Started, not delivered – is used if a part has Status 3 (Started), and the main part of the order does not have Status 6 (Delivered) or higher. This is normally used for manufacturing to customer orders, since the M-parts reported as finished are then calculated as WIP value until the customer order is delivered, when they become an income. With this alternative, no orders that have a main part reported as finished will be included in the WIP calculation.
The alternatives for the order status therefore depend on which main parts that will be selected. If you select the main part type Stocked, you normally also select the Started, not finished order status. If you select the main part type Manufactured, you normally select the Started, not delivered order status.
Please Note! The order status Started, not delivered requires that the final reporting of manufacturing orders reported as finished has been carried out during delivery of customer orders.
