All lists that are displayed on screen can also be viewed under the Preview tab. Using Preview, the list is displayed as it will look in a printout. If you for example have selected Print Search Form under Edit in the Window menu, then your classification/selection and settings from the create tab (search form) will be displayed in the Preview tab.
In the preview tab you cannot change any data in the list, but you can re-sort and filter and also apply saved filters and property profiles.
You activate the Preview tab by clicking on the tab or by going to File and Preview in the Window menu.
If you want to print the list after preview, you use the Print button under the Window functions. You will find the corresponding command for printout if you go to File and select Print... in the Window menu, or by using the shortcut key Ctrl+P.
For lists intended to update data there are in many cases columns that will not be included if the list is printed. This is due to the fact that there is not enough room to fit all columns in one printout (portrait format A4). In the Preview tab you can see the columns that will be printed. They are the columns that are considered most important to include in a printout, if any. The columns included/excluded in the printout might vary between different list types.
