MONITOR can manage many different kinds of prices, also called price alternatives. In different places in the system you can choose between price alternatives that are available or current at that moment.
Example:
When preparing a calculation for a part, you can choose between several different price alternatives for purchased parts: "Standard price", "Latest purchase price", "Average purchase price", just to name a few.
For parts there are price alternatives that can be updated and there are price alternatives for statistics that are generated during reporting.
All price alternatives (except for price lists) are predefined in the system. The different price alternatives are displayed in an abbreviated form in the system. In the description of the different price alternatives, the corresponding abbreviation will be displayed.
