AutoRuns
By using AutoRuns, you can automatically run lists at scheduled times. Lists in MONITOR can be printed or used to calculate and save data. This can all be performed automatically.
The scheduling of the AutoRuns is made in the Scheduled Tasks procedure in the Control Panel in Windows. This is where you enter the times and intervals for the automatic run.
Examples of automatization needs:
- To check if there are any quotes that have expired (exceeded its validity period) or to find out about delayed deliveries. The AutoRuns presents this without you having to "actively" take part.
- To estimate and update the annual volume, EOQ, ABC codes, etc. The AutoRuns procedure provides an opportunity to regularly update the basic data.
- Periodic information, such as an inventory value list or a WIP list. AutoRuns take care of the monitoring of the period changes.
- You can make calculations that are resource demanding and time-consuming, such as Run Netting and Pre-Calculation Selection. Automatic runs (AutoRuns) give you the opportunity to perform these runs during times when there is less of a strain on the system, e.g. during the night.
