MONITOR Agent

The MONITOR Agent is a supplement to MONITOR which helps to automatically execute activities and it also actively monitors events. The MONITOR Agent can be used to:

• create AutoRuns (Automatic Runs) of different lists. (The scheduling of AutoRuns is made by using the Scheduled Tasks procedure in Windows.)
• create Monitoring Tasks of events based on conditions, and the Agent Servern quickly informs the affected users when the event has taken place.

Output data or result can be managed in different ways. Lists from AutoRuns can be printed, sent via e-mail, or calculate and save data.

When a monitoring task has been fulfilled, the Agent Server notifies the affected personnel thereof via the Agent Results, e-mail, network message, or SMS.

Agent Results apply both for Monitoring Tasks and AutoRuns and can store lists from the AutoRuns and events from the Monitoring Tasks so that they can be reviewed later.

The MONITOR Agent has its own sub-module in the Global Settings module. Here you find procedures in which you create AutoRuns, Monitoring Tasks and also procedures for Agent Results and reviewing results from automatic runs and monitoring tasks. There is also a procedure where you can see a Monitoring Task List.
