Quantity/Package
In this field (Qty/pkge), you choose whether this order document should be printed out in quantity per package, which has been registered for that part, or whether it should be a fixed quantity. If you select any of the "Yes" alternatives, the Quantity field will be deactivated. You can select the following alternatives:
- No - no order documents will be printed per package, but only according to the quantity that has been entered as a default in the Quantity field or in the printout procedure.
- Yes (copies) - the order document will be printed in the quantity per package that has been registered for that part. For example, if the order is for 1000 pieces and there are 50 pieces per package, then 20 documents will be printed (1000/50=20). This will send one printout to the printer, which will then copy and re-print the document in a total of 20 copies, and below the material rows to the left each on document it will display "Quantity/Package: 50". This method is faster than the Yes (x of y) since it only creates one printout in the system.
- Yes (x of y) - the order documents will be printed in the quantity per package that has been registered for that part. In this case, the same order creates 20 printouts to the printer, and each document will display "Quantity/Package" under the material rows to the left. 50 1/20", "Quantity/Package: 50 2/20", "Quantity/Package: 50 3/20", etc.
