The Material Section

In this section you configure the settings that determine if and how the material information should be displayed in a BOM list in the Material portion of the manufacturing order document. Each material can contain up to three rows of information.

Format

Here you choose how you want the material rows to be shown on the manufacturing order document:

• No material - The Material portion is not shown at all.
• For current op - Shows material that is part of current operation. If you have selected No operations in the Operation portion, you cannot select For current op in the Material portion.
• All material - Shows material rows for all incorporated material for the part in question.

Print Instruction

Here you can select how the instructions should be displayed in the material section on the M-order document:

• None
• Only instrux - If you configure this alternative, the instructions that were entered during the Preparation for that material in the BOM list will be printed on the third material row.
• Only external documents
• Both instrux and documents

Print Quantity

If you check this alternative, the quantity for this material will be displayed on the first row. The quantity is displayed per unit, as well as for the total of the number of parts on the order.

Print Report Number

If you check this alternative, the report number will be printed at the far right on the second material row.

This setting also configures that the material revision can be printed on the second row.

Bar Code

This alternative will print the bar code on the second material row. The bar code font type that is used for manufacturing order documents is BarCode 39.

In order to use other bar code font types than BarCode 39 you need customized forms for the manufacturing order documents. Please contact the Adaptation department at Monitor ERP System AB for more information and prices.

Print Period

If you check this alternative, the period will be printed on the 1st row for the material, when it is needed for the operation under FOP ("For operation") in the Preparation procedure.

Weight Data

If you check this box, weight data will be printed.

Alternate Unit

If the part has an Alternate Unit registered, it can be printed here. If you check this alternative, the quantity for the material will be printed on the 1st row using this unit.

Print Additional Name

If you check this alternative, the Additional name, if any, will be printed.
