Using EDI in MONITOR

When using EDI procedures in MONITOR, you can send and receive different types of EDI messages to and from your customers and suppliers. The EDI messages (in parenthesis) that are included in MONITOR are:

You can receive EDI messages from your customers regarding delivery schedules or individual orders, and from your suppliers you can receive EDI messages regarding order responses.

Customers are sent EDI messages regarding the supporting documents for delivery notes and invoices, and suppliers are sent EDI messages regarding purchase orders and waybills for shipping agents.

* CALOFF is an ODETTE message that has been especially adapted for Volvo.

** When it comes to logistics, the functionality in MONITOR is at present limited to sending waybills. MONITOR has participated in the Pharos project as one of several software program developers, in order to adjust the systems to the EDIFACT standard for logistics. The purpose of the Pharos project was to create economic and technical possibilities for small and medium-sized companies to use computer-supported logistics.
