The Revision Button

The term "revision" applies to drawing revisions, i.e. revised drawings. Such as version A, B, C, etc.

By clicking on the button , a window will open in which you can add a new revision or modify existing revisions. Under the Current column, you can select the revision that you want to activate. The current revision is the one that is saved to the order register and the order logs as the default revision. In the Rev column you enter the name of the revision. Under Date you enter the revision date. If you click in the C column the Comment window will open, allowing you to enter the changes you have made, and the terms that apply to the new revision for this part. Here you can also link the revision to external documents, such as drawings. The button will be shown to the right of the C column if there are any external documents or drawings linked to the revision. To be able to link external documents, you must have the supplement Document Viewing installed.
