Under the menu heading Time Calculation in the Manufacturing module, you will find procedures that deal with calculating setup times and unit times used in manufacturing.
Below you will find a brief description of all the procedures that can be found under the Time Calculation menu heading in the Manufacturing module of a complete MONITOR system. Please note that Time Calculation is a supplementary module that must be purchased separately.
Time Calculation
Time Calculation is used to calculate setup times and unit times. These times are then used as the basis for creating product prices, quote prices, incentive bonuses, loading etc. You can also run Time Calculation integrated with the Preparation procedure, where Time Calculation is then loaded using F4 or the Info menu if you right-click in the fields Setup time or Unit time in the operation rows. If Time Calculation is integrated with Preparation, you can also update existing preparations for parts. In the Time Calculation feature, you can apply both a "detailed preparation" and a "summarized preparation".
